June Ellen, is an Herbalist, Naturalist, and accomplished Artist. She has a passion for the wild places, plants and the spaces within ourselves which are wild and precious. "In wildness is the preservation of the world" by Thoreau ... this quote inspires her multi-faceted journey of art and nature.
Her formal education at WheatonCollege accomplished a degree in Biology and Government. She spent 10 years as a student with Tom Brown, Jr. learning Native American skills & philosophy.
JE has also apprenticed with Rosemary Gladstar, a leading herbalist in the US. Traveling to Ecuador to study plants, she had the opportunity to work with shamen and participate in healing ceremonies.

Currently, June Ellen continues her studies with Jackie Woods at the Adawehi Institute in Columbus, NC. www.jackiewoods.org.
A member of the American Herbalist Guild and United Plant Savers, JE works to conserve native plants…our legacy for future generations. She has dedicated her life and art to the preservation of our beautiful planet.
